Just got my set in the mail last week and they’re awesome. Of course you get the usual 3-C’s of perfection that MTC is famous for; Cut, Color, and Card stock. But this set is somehow more. It has the feel of a labor of love. Maybe not, idk. But there’s something special about these cards. They’re nostalgia level is through the roof and the colors used for the borders and backs really compliment the black and white, and sepia toned photos. I’m much more than pleased.

Herman “Flip” Fleming is my grandfather’s brother. I grew up hearing about him having played for HOD. Of course, being as my dad was from a small town in Iowa, and was pitching for the men’s town team by the time he was a sophomore in high school, the stories I grew up listening to, it was like “Field of Dreams”, but with the real life cast.
