Custom Ticket Card FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a TICKET CARD?

TICKET CARDS are unique hand-crafted baseball cards designed to display actual ticket stubs from specific events or past games. The actual card is the same size as standard baseball cards (2.5″ x 3.5″) created with 2mm thick foam. Each TICKET CARD will be delivered in a sealed One Touch Magnetic Ultra-Pro Gold card holder (with UV protection).

You can see examples of TICKET CARDS here.

How much is a TICKET CART?

Each custom TICKET CARD costs $35 (+ $10 for Priority Mail shipping). I will send you an invoice for $45 once you approve the design.

What type of ticket stub is required?

Each team and each season has different sizes and designs for their tickets. Not all tickets will work (example: extra large commemorative tickets) and I will tell you when I don’t think it is feasible. Keep in mind, it is very unlikely the entire ticket will fit in the 2.5×3.5 inch dimensions of a baseball card. Ideally, I work to display the team name and date on the ticket. You will be involved with each step along the way so there are no surprises.

Will you cut my ticket stub?

Be prepared… some trimming of your ticket stub is very likely. Before any cutting takes place, I will obtain your approval for the TICKET CARD design, the punch out shape and the part of the ticket you want to display. Once a ticket stub is cut, it can not be put back together.

Can you make a TICKET CARD without cutting my ticket stub?

Honestly, I have not seen many tickets that fit inside the standard card dimension. Most need to trimmed in some manner. If the ticket is extremely valuable and you want to preserve it without cutting it… this process may not be for you. I would suggest getting your ticket professionally matted and framed.

I want a TICKET card, but I don’t own the ticket stub? Can I still get a custom card for a specific player?

It depends. Take a look at what I have available in my store right now. More than likely, I can help find a ticket stub for a specific player or team you are looking for. Some ticket stubs can be expensive. I can guide you on how to get the stub you need so we can make the card you are looking for.

How long does the process take?

Delivery time depends on how much volume I have and how efficiently we can communicate. I work on a “first come – first serve” basis. Under normal circumstances, you can expect to receive your finished TICKET CARD within 2 weeks AFTER I receive your ticket stub in the mail. I can provide a more accurate return time estimate when we get to the “design approval” stage.

If I don’t like the design or change my mind… can I get my ticket stub back?

Yes, up until we get to the stage where I get your approval for the design and you acknowledge the ticket will be trimmed, I can return your ticket stub as you sent it to me.

Do you accept requests?

Definitely, go ahead and email me or send me a twitter DM if you have something in mind. I am always looking for new ideas for fun projects.
