RC Cola Cards

If you were a kid in the 1970s, you should recognize this design concept.

In 1977, RC Cola created a series featuring MLB players on the can. Collecting these cans was almost as fun as collecting baseball cards (minus the ants when you forgot to clean the cans before displaying them).

There was a wide variety of players ranging from Hall of Famers, perennial All Stars to average MLB players. You can actually buy some of these cans on eBay.

On and off for the last few months, I have been working on a new series to honor these relics of 1970’s baseball collectors. All of these cards feature my drawings. I am a big fan of the art on StatsMuse… so there is no coincidence the players on these new cards follow the StatsMuse style. This first “series” of cards features some of my all-time favorite players.
