Over the last year or so we have seen the death of so many former ballplayers. This list includes greats like Whitey Ford, Al Kaline, Lou Brock, Bob Gibson, Dick Allen, Joe Morgan, Tom Seaver and Tommy Lasorda.
On Friday, the avalanche bad news continued when Hank Aaron passed away. Hank has always been one of my favorite players. His 1974 drive to break Babe Ruth’s home run record coincided with my discovery of the game when I was 8 years old.
I spent much of the day on Friday thinking about Hank and drawing.
